I have some exciting news to share!
Starting in May I will begin a new job!
*happy dance*
May would have made 2 years for me at my current job.
I love it there, but unfortunately there are some issues (that have nothing to do with me) that caused me to have to start searching for a new job.
The job I have now is an office job on campus, which makes it very convenient for me to just walk from work to class everyday.
So of course I decided the best route for me would be to seek another campus job....
I prayed.
...and He had another idea.
Of course a campus job would be convenient, but easy isn't always right.
I told my mom the first of last week that I didn't think a campus job was meant to be.
I had been talking to several people and it wasn't working...
By no means was I giving up.
I just had this feeling.
*He was speaking and opening doors*
Last Thursday.
I met with one of my professors to make out my Fall 2012 schedule and I told her about my situation.
She told me that Sprout, a new shop here in town, was looking for part time help.
Later in the day, I said a prayer and made a phone call.
Friday.
I took my resume to the owner.
Today.
I received a phone call and a job offer.
Sprout
Baby.Home.Garden.
They have beautiful furniture for the home and for nurseries.
They want me to help people make choices for their homes.
It's scary but this is my chance to make a name for myself.
This is my chance to learn the ends and outs of owning a business.
That excites me beyond belief.
This is another one of my chapters.
Smile :)
